Selah Sounds Silver ’82 Pack

From an era when vacuum tubes were found in all manner of consumer electronics and a popular department store sold Dano-produced Guitar Amplifiers… the Silver ’82 oozes vintage mojo. Occasionally referred to as a “poor man’s Deluxe”, this 15-watt, 6V6, catalog amplifier offers warm cleans and smooth, creamy overdrive through its original 12” speaker. This amp was darker than most we’ve profiled so we set the tone on 10 and let ‘er rip! The Silver ’82 Pack adds a unique tone to any profile collection with its rounder top end and rich harmonic saturation.

Featuring a handful of profiles using the Instrument input, we also jumpered it with the Microphone input for some extra grind on the highest gain profile (marked 10+). To garner some more of that sweet “Silver” tone, we pushed the amp with a popular 1484 pedal (profiles labeled ’T’), and for a different flavour we used a lesser known red overdrive with some bite (profiles labeled ‘R’).
