The LSTARR Pack seeks to capture the versatile tone of the 30-watt Class A EL-84 “special” version of this amp lineup from Petaluma, California. From big and bold clean tones to vintage bluesy richness, finishing with soaring high gain lead tones, the LSTARR fits in any context. To add to its versatility, the amp has 3 power levels on tap. However, to maximize on the sweetness in the power section we utilized all of the EL84’s in the 30-watt mode for all profiles. Each channel picked up where the last left off as we moved through the gain stages from Channel 1 (profiles marked 1­-*) to Channel 2 Clean (profiles marked 2-C*) and Channel 2 Drive (profiles marked 2-D*). Our P12Q/Gold speaker combo delivered a balanced sound through our own Selah Sounds 2x12 speaker cabinet. With its combination of vintage and modern tones, the LSTARR sits right at home in any amp (or profile!) collection.
